The resistance of antistatic insulating materials is different. Generally, the insulation resistance is greater than 1012Ω, while the antistatic resistance is between 106Ω~1012Ω. The insulation is not conductive, and the anti-static material is made, but the resistance value is relatively large, and the standard requires it to be between 10^6 and 10^9.

The performance of anti-static shoes and insulated shoes is different. Anti-static shoes are made by adding anti-static materials to the soles. Anti-static shoes have weak conductivity and can guide the excess charge of the human body to the ground, avoiding charge accumulation and electrostatic discharge, thereby eliminating static electricity in the human body. The sole of the shoe is made of non-conductive insulating material to insulate the human body from the ground. Even contact with conductive materials does not cause electric shock to the human body.
