The SURPA-9202D Single Operator and Mat Continuous Monitor is designed to monitor resistance of both the work surface and the operator. It comes with a built in audible alarm and LED, triggering either when either the operator or work surface falls out of spec, becomes disconnected, or ground is lost. A full time monitoring system is necessary to reduce latency on the assembly line.

Why Choose the SURPA-9202D?
Simultaneous Dual-Path Monitoring: Most monitors only check the person. The 9202D checks the Operator AND the Mat. If your mat's ground wire becomes loose, the "BENCH" alarm will alert you immediately.
Compact Footprint: At only 61mm wide, it fits perfectly under shelf brackets or on the corner of a workstation without obstructing the assembly area.
Instant Audible Warning: No need to constantly watch the lights. If a wrist strap is worn too loosely or a wire snaps, a loud buzzer sounds instantly, stopping a potential ESD event before it happens.
Strong Anti-Interference: Optimized circuitry prevents "false alarms" caused by electromagnetic interference from nearby soldering stations or power tools.
Compliance Ready: Designed to help your facility meet GB/T 15463-2018 and JJF(津)101-2023 requirements for continuous monitoring.
application
SMT/PCB Assembly: Ensuring manual solderers and inspectors are safely grounded during high-density board handling.
Mobile & Device Repair: Protecting sensitive ICs and screens during delicate disassembly and reassembly.
Laboratory & Calibration: Providing a stable, grounded environment for sensitive electronic measurements.
Cleanroom Manufacturing: A low-maintenance solution for controlled environments requiring strict static management.

FAQ
Q: Does the monitor require a special wrist strap?
A: No. The SURPA-9202D uses a standard 3.5mm (1/8") mono jack. It is compatible with almost all standard single-wire wrist straps on the market.
Q: What happens if the "BENCH" light turns red?
A: This indicates the resistance of your ESD mat grounding path has exceeded the safety limit (usually > 10e9 Omega). Check if the mat's grounding snap is loose or if the mat surface needs cleaning with ESD-safe cleaner.
Q: Can the buzzer be turned off?
A: The buzzer is a safety feature designed to ensure immediate corrective action. While the LEDs provide visual cues, the buzzer ensures that an operator who isn't looking at the monitor still knows their grounding is compromised.
Status Indicators
| Monitor Signal | Meaning | Required Action |
| 🟢 Solid Green | SYSTEM SAFE. Grounding is within spec. | Continue working normally. |
| 🔴 Flashing Red + Beep | OPEN CIRCUIT. Grounding is lost. | Tighten wrist strap or check ground wire. |
| No Light / No Sound | POWER LOSS. Unit is not receiving electricity. | Check AC adapter connection. |
